Genshin Impact's 1.1 update has brought a ton of new content to the game, and one of these things is a brand new event: Unreconciled Stars. This event kicked off yesterday and is running through the end of the month. There are sweet rewards and some cool world-building that happens across the event, so make sure you hop in and start it as soon as possible.
Just keep in mind that Unreconciled Stars is only available to players who are Adventure Rank 20 or higher. If you need tips on how to advance up to that rank quickly, check out our progression guide here before reading on about how to get involved in this event.
In the 1.1 update to Genshin Impact, the final chapter to the story arc in Liyue reaches its climax with a fight against Tartaglia (AKA Childe), one of the Fatui Harbingers. We won't go into detail as to why this is or the circumstances of the world around the fight to avoid potentially spoiling anything more than we already have, but we wanted to post a guide on the Tartaglia boss fight because it is easily one of the toughest parts of the game to-date.
If you've been struggling to win this fight, particularly on mobile, check out the video above and some tips below on how you can win this fight and continue on your quest.
Bounties are new to Genshin Impact in its 1.1 update. As mentioned in our write-up of the new content, players can now grind out reputation for each region available in the game, and one of the ways you can do this is through hunting down powerful boss creatures and killing them in a set time limit.
Watch the video above to see what bounties are like, and read on below to learn everything else you need to know about them.
The time is almost here for Genshin Impact to get its first significant update since launch. There's a lot to look forward to once the game hits 1.1, and we've got you covered on what to expect out of it.

While exploring Teyvat in Genshin Impact, you might find yourself stumbling across an abyssal domain that is seemingly inaccessible. When you first discover Taishan Mansion, it is completely submerged underwater. To unlock it, you'll need to do some puzzle-solving, which the video above can walk you through. Or, if you'd prefer, read on below about how to unlock Taishan Mansion.
We're month since Genshin Impact's initial release, and we're already here at our second event. The Marvelous Merchant event has already been underway for two days and we have just the info you need to complete this silly scavenger hunt each day.
The Marvelous Merchant event is essentially a new daily quest that consists of three steps: find the mysterious merchant, give him what he wants, and pick a prize. This guide will keep track of each day's locations, what is being asked for, and the prizes that can be redeemed. Read on below to check them out.
Once you get up to around Adventure Rank 25, Genshin Impact starts to turn into a different thing. What was once a story-driven affair evolves into something more like a traditional MMO.
This isn't to say there isn't anything to do, though there are fewer novel things to uncover at this stage in the game. That being said, this is where you really need to start focusing your energy in the right direction, particularly if you're a non-paying player. Read on below to get a sense of what to expect in Genshin Impact's mid-game.
Hello and well met, fellow adventurers of Teyvat! Check out our all-in-one resource for all things Genshin Impact. We'll be sure to add more as we keep playing the game, so be sure to come back here to check for updates!

If you're playing Genshin Impact without spending money, you'll always need to be looking for ways to optimize your play to maximize rewards without getting stuck in a position where you're tempted to spend. The most obvious trap here is the game's gacha system that is constantly dangling cool new characters in front of you in hopes that you'll want to go all-in on Wishes.
Primogems are the only currency you can use on Genshin Impact's virtual slot machine, but you don't always need to be spending them to try and get new characters. In fact, at times that can be a really bad idea. Read on for some tips from a seasoned gacha player about how to manage your premium currency most efficiently.
Genshin Impact is great fun, but make no mistake: this is a gacha game. It is designed specifically to suck away time and money from you, and one of the ways the game does this is by offering a drip-feed of currencies you will feel compelled to collect and spend in the optimal way.
See below for the most important currencies Genshin Impact offers, how to collect them, and what you should spend them on. This guide is a resource for early game players to know what they're in for in terms of grind, as well as what they should hold onto heading into the late game.
The end game of Genshin Impact largely revolves around spending resin to take on world bosses and clear domain challenges. These fights grant amazing rewards like rare artifacts and ascension materials for weapons and adventurers, but obviously only if you're up for the challenge.
This guide will teach you how to beat Pyro Regisvine, a nasty little flame flower that lives in a cave between Luhua Pool and Tianqiu Valley. Defeating it is a a must for anyone using pyro adventurers, and key for anyone looking for powerful Gladiator's Finale artifacts. With these tips, you should be able to make quick work of this fight.
If you've followed our progression guide for Genshin Impact up to Adventure Rank 25, you have reached the point where you can face off against Stormterror on a weekly basis for some pretty sweet rewards. Beating this deadly dragon isn't as easy as it is in the story mission when you got a loaner Venti to dish out damage for you, though, so you'll need to go into the fight with a plan.
Regardless of who is on your adventurer team, Stormterror is beatable, particularly if you read his attack patterns and know how to react to them. See above for a video showing a successful run and read on for some tips on how to do it yourself.
Genshin Impact has unveiled its first of what we can expect to be many special events and ongoing content updates. This latest update adds the Elemental Crucible Event. This event is available to any players that have reached Adventure Rank 20, have completed the Prologue, and completed a minor new quest from Timaeus that introduces the event itself.
Read on below for more info about how this event works and if you should take it on.
