Play Together teams up with Sanrio to bring some iconic characters to Kaia Island

I was quite surprised to learn that the massive social network game Play Together had never collaborated with the globally popular Sanrio IP, it seems like the perfect team. Well, this glaring omission has now been rectified, as that instantly recognisable feline and friends head to Kaia Island.

By heading to Downtown Kaia Island you will be able to spot a new building that has opened, and by this I mean you will be unable to miss the giant pink hotel. Cross its threshold, and you will find yourself mobbed by a host of cute characters. Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll are but a few of the new friends you will make.

To celebrate this grand opening, you can grab yourself a handful of Sanrio character-themed items, starting with the most recognisable of all. Talk to Hello Kitty and she will set you a series of tasks to complete, rewarding you will a shower of event coins, that you can trade in for some unique items.

You will be able to purchase yourself the magnificent Hello Kitty Hotel Gown, because of course the building is named after her, a Hello Kitty Hotelier Uniform, and rather amusingly, the Hello Kitty Bath Bucket. This is a vehicle, so you can drive around in a bucket, which feels more Spongebob than Sanrio.

If you are opposed to following the orders of a humanoid cat, then don’t fret, as you can get some items elsewhere. The attendance event will offer everyone an opportunity to nab the Cinnamoroll Progile image, and the Gift Calender also opens Downtown offering a chance to unlock extra Sanrio items.
