Despite your personal opinion on the BBC at a managerial level, it is undeniable that it has overseen some fantastic British shows in the past, and now thanks to a partnership with Roblox, players will be able to interact with some of these biggest titles in BBC Wonder Chase.

When you load into this new world you will be in Wonder Central, a city set on the water, possibly an allusion to Britain itself. Here you meet noted documentary makers, Louis Theroux and Zera McDermott, laugh with CCBC’s Hacker T Gog, or take part in a red nose game from Comic Relief. After this, there are four more parts to explore.

Heading to the Deep Space Zone will cast you to an otherworldly planet where you will encounter one of the country's, if not the world's, most famous Science Fiction series. The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday, played by Ncuti Gatwas and Millie Gibsons, from Doctor Who will greet you, and you might even run into a fiendish little Goblin.

Festival Park is where all the music, art, and culture folk gather in a big festival, attended by CBBCs The Next Step’s Michelle, Kenzie, and Eldon. You can also visit the BBC News rave tent, which just sounds weird. Moving on to Total Sport, you will never guess what you will find here.

A host of giant inflatables and challenging obstacles will be available to play around with across multiple sporty islands, and you could even bump into Match of the Day starts Michal Richards, Alan Shearer, and the crisp king himself, Gary Linekar. Finally, Tiny Planet will shrink you down to bug size, where popular nature presenters Liz Bonnin and Steve Backshall will teach everyone about the funs of nature.

BBC Wonder Chase will grow and encompass more IPs from BBC in the coming year, with developers Mobile Pie making the most of Roblox’s accessibility tools to bring the game to the widest audience. You can slow down or pause moving objects in the game like grass if they get distracting, using the built-in controller support, or even automate double jump if you have motor difficulties.

Roblox is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
