How to use Lightning effectively in Clash Royale

Lightning is a force to be reckoned with in Clash Royale, doing huge damage to multiple foes.
It isn't the most straightforward card to use though, so here's how to make sure you get the most out of it. How it works
Lightning will only strike the three units or buildings with the highest hit points in its damage radius.
Therefore, it's not wise to use on single targets or large groups of weak units.
Chain Lightning whenever possibleWhile it might be tempting to use Lightning every time you see a tank unit like the Giant, Prince, or P.E.K.K.A., saving it for groups of high hit point units or buildings can grant a huge Elixir advantage.
For example, if your opponent plays a Hut deck and stacks three close together, Lightning can take them all out for only six Elixir.
