Neowiz has launched Golf Impact, a new competitive sports game for iOS and Android devices.

Golf Impact takes you around the globe as you compete in intense 1v1 competitive golf matches. It has an easy to learn, hard to master approach to the gameplay experience, where you step into a thrilling world tour to compete against other players for big prizes as well as levelling up your clubs as you travel the world.

Immersive horror game Under: Depths of Fear is out now on iOS

Rogue Games has released Under: Depths of Fear, its immersive first-person survival horror game for iOS devices. The game had previously been released on PC via Steam late last year, and is now available as paid title on the iOS App Store.

In Under: Depths of Fear, you play as Alexander Dockter who is suffering from PTSD following the atrocities he witnessed during World War I. He’s now trapped aboard an eerie ocean liner that is slowly sinking. With rooms gradually filling with large volumes of water and a group of malicious entities stalking you, you must survive the night and find a way to escape before time runs out.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is an augmented reality RPG coming soon to Android and iOS

Spokko has opened up soft launch pre-registrations for The Witcher: Monster Slayer on Android, and the full game will be coming to both iOS and Android in the future.

The game is a new title in The Witcher series, which is based on a series of popular novels, and it looks like Monster Slayer is including content from the first game in the series but retrofitted for a mobile experience. This content includes an augmented reality feature where you encounter strange beasts and frightening monsters in an AR environment.

Gears Pop!, the Gears of War and Funko Pop mashup from Mediatonic, has shut down

Mediatonic and Microsoft has shut down operations on Gears Pop! after a final farewell period of limited events. The game had originally launched on iOS and Android in August 2019.

This closure was first announced back in October last year, where a blog post on the official Gears Pop! website stated: “There are a number of things that go into maintaining a game beyond keeping servers active. Addressing issues, developing content, and providing support are critical in keeping a game running. Unfortunately, this is no longer feasible.”

Apex Legends Mobile begins Android closed beta later this month

Electronic Arts has announced that it is moving forward with some closed beta tests of the upcoming Apex Legends Mobile in selected regions.

The beta test is due to begin only in India and the Philippines for now, but will be expanded to more territories as time goes on.

The initial beta will only include a few thousand players to kick things off, but will gradually get bigger as EA inches towards a full release. The beta will also become available on iOS at some point, though no date has been given for that yet.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 3 goes live with new maps, operators, and much more

Activision has released a new seasonal update for its mobile shooter Call of Duty Mobile, which is now live across iOS and Android devices after being teased last week.

This new season of the game brings in all the content you’d expect from a new season: new operators, maps, weapons, game modes and, of course, a Battle Pass.

Bethesda has released a new DOOM mobile game

Bethesda Softworks has released a new DOOM game out of the blue exclusively for mobile devices. It’s called Mighty DOOM and is currently only available as an early access title on Android but will be expanding to more users in the future.

Mighty DOOM is an action game where you pave your way by gunning down enemies in your path and pillaging their corpses for loot. As you progress through the game, you clear waves of enemies which increases by a lot as you reach the higher levels.

Anagraphs is a word puzzle game with a twist, and it’s out now on mobile

Cinq-Mars Media has released its word puzzle game Anagraphs for iOS and Android devices. The game released last week after a short delay in getting it onto the appropriate platforms.

Anagraphs is a word puzzle game where you search for anagrams within a set of letters. It sounds simple enough, you make the word ‘cat’ out of ‘act’, and so on. However, there’s a slight twist to it too. Each letter uses a special font that makes them vertically symmetrical, and you can rotate it to create new letters. This makes for so many new ways to find anagrams from the letters you’re given.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut available to play on mobile today on Google Stadia

Studio ZA/UM will be releasing Disco Elysium: The Final Cut later today on Google Stadia, which will allow you to play the game on your handheld devices using cloud streaming technology.

It’s an RPG inspired by tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons, where you use many elements from that format such as skill checks and dice rolls to determine your every action. It also takes inspiration from classic adventure games like Baldur’s Gate and Planescape Torment.

Pureya is a minigame collection played in 10-second chunks, now available on iOS and Android

If you have been missing arcade games like WarioWare, Majorariatto has released a new title which aims to fill the void of minigame collections on mobile devices. It’s called Pureya and it’s available now on iOS and Android.

Pureya is a collection of charming minigames which all take place within the imagination of a young girl who has dropped her marbles collection all around her bedroom. As she scrambles to pick them up, her mind runs wild as she imagines all the different scenarios of how to collect them.

Jigsaw Video Party is a new multiplayer game about jigsaws for mobile

Marmalade Game Studio has launched Jigsaw Video Party, a new multiplayer party game for iOS and Android devices.

Designed to recreate the feeling of sitting down with friends to chat, Jigsaw Video Party has you interacting face-to-face via video chat all whilst completing a jigsaw puzzle together. Marmalade hopes to unite the players by using a classic pastime to bring them together over the internet, by allowing friends to form groups with each other and start games directly.

Project Cars GO is an accessible racing sim out now for iOS and Android

GAMEVIL, in a publishing partnership with Slightly Mad Studios, has released Project Cars GO for iOS and Android devices after being announced years ago.

Project Cars GO is a more accessible version of the game on PC and consoles intended for mobile, using a one-touch control scheme that focuses on timing over anything else. It’s not a “simple” game though, with the game also maintaining a high level of depth through the customisation system, which lets you fine-tune the engine and style your car to suit your own tastes.

State of Survival getting a Walking Dead crossover next month

FunPlus is bringing the world of The Walking Dead to its mobile zombie strategy game State of Survival due to an upcoming partnership between the developer and the television network, AMC. The update is due to occur on 1st April and will last until October.

When the event begins, characters from The Walking Dead AMC show will appear within State of Survival as playable heroes that you can use to help fight and survive against the zombie hordes. FunPlus has not stated the full list of crossover characters coming to The Walking Dead, but fan favourite appearances should be a given.

Tomb Raider Reloaded now available in Thailand and the Philippines, other countries available later this year

Square Enix has launched Tomb Raider Reloaded as a soft launch title in Thailand and the Philippines, and plans to expand the launch to other territories later this year on iOS and Android, as confirmed by Square Enix and PocketGamer.biz.

Tomb Raider Reloaded was originally announced back in November last year as a new Tomb Raider title starring Lara Croft developed exclusively for mobile phones. It’s being developed by Canadian developer Emerald City Games, working with Square Enix to bring the iconic explorer back to mobile.

A Musical Story is a rhythm game coming soon to iOS

Digerati has announced a new upcoming rhythm game named A Musical Story will be releasing on iOS later this year alongside a launch on PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

Developed by Glee-Cheese Studio, the game is a musical adventure game set in the 1970s where you unlock the memories of Gabriel, a musician who needs to piece together significant parts of his past.
