If you’re looking forward to the upcoming NieR Reincarnation, pre-registration has now begun for it worldwide. The game will be coming later this year on iOS and Android.

NieR Reincarnation is the latest game set in the same world as NieR and NieR Automata (which was also a spin-off of Yoko Taro’s earlier Drakengard series). In it, you play as the Girl in White, who is journeying through this world with the strange entity known as Mama trying to unlock her memories.

As you discover the echoes of these lost memories, you must also avoid a big evil creature known as the Dark Monster, who stalks you throughout the game and wears a big plate of armour.

The combat in NieR Reincarnation is designed to be accessible. You meet other characters throughout the game who will help you in battle, but if combat isn’t your thing at all then you can also utilise the game’s auto-battle mode to help you ignore it and focus on the story and world instead.

The announcement that NieR Reincarnation is available for pre-registration came during Square Enix Presents, a show designated as part of the current E3 lineup of press conferences.

It was originally announced as a mobile exclusive last year during the 2020 Tokyo Game Show, then being made available for pre-registers in Japan and released in that territory the following February.

If Square Enix sticks to the original plan, NieR Reincarnation should launch on 6th November later this year. It will be arriving on the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store as a free to play game with in-app purchases.
