Blizzard has announced a new expansion for its popular card game Hearthstone to be released on 3rd August.

The new expansion is called United in Stormwind and it brings 135 all-new cards to the game inspired by the titular gleaming city. These new cards include new Questline cards for Hearthstone that provide a look into the backstories of each mercenary character that was introduced earlier this year.

Each match begins with these Questline cards in your hand. Completing any of the challenges associated with them rewards you with powerful in-game effects, and finishing the whole lot will also allow the Mercenary to fight by your side as a powerful Legendary Minion.

The new expansion for Hearthstone also adds a new keyword called Tradeable, which is where cards with this attribute can get new situational effects to swap them for another card in your hand for the cost of one mana point.

You can read the full details on United in Stormwind’s new cards and features by checking out the official announcement here.

If you want to preorder it, you can do so from the official website where it is available in multiple options. You can get it as a regular bundle with 60 card packs, two random Legendary cards, and the Lady Katrana Prestor card back for the price of $49.99.

On the other hand, you can also get the Mega Bundle which costs $79.99 and comes with 80 card packs, 5 Golden card packs, two random Golden Legendary cards, the Lady Katrana Prestor Alternate Hero, the Lady Katrana Prestor card back, as well as the Ve’nari Alternate Bartender and other perks for Hearthstone Battlegrounds.

United in Stormwind releases next month on 3rd August. You can download Hearthstone now from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store where it is a free to play game with in-app purchases.
