App Description
GoBook is the premier instructional and assessment app from Attainment Company. Imagine the convenience of having a collection of interactive lessons, complete with leveled assessments, all within the confines of your iPad! Each student can be set up with their own profile, and assessment results are tracked and stored for teacher review. GoBook is also a platform for digital versions of Attainment’s curriculum, which will continue to grow as we draw upon over 30 years worth of material.
GoBook Teacher is a tool to author interactive lessons. You create GoBooks page by page in the Teacher version. Build a page by writing, pasting text, or importing a PDF. Add freehand drawings or shapes using art tools. Place images on a GoBook page from the photo roll, our image library, or the built-in Internet search. Then bring the page to life with Magic Buttons! When tapped, they play video and recorded audio, read and highlight text, jump to another page, or link to GoTalk NOW. Store images, sounds, videos, and PDFs in the Shoebox for easy retrieval.
Need more? Employ advanced features to create multiple choice, shared-answer, or fill-in-the-blank assessments, with results scored and saved. Or place hotpsots on a GoBook page to create a unique sequence of actions, like removing distractors when questions are answered incorrectly. Plus you can author lessons with multiple difficulty levels – a great way to differentiate instructions.
Share your GoBooks with students, parents, and teachers via AirDrop, email, or iTunes File Sharing. Any iPad with the Student version can display GoBooks with its interactivity and media intact. Assessment data is stored on the student’s iPad and sent to the teacher. Student profiles and results may also be set up in GoBook Teacher; it can work as a standalone app for without the need for GoBook Student.
