SPLASH AND BUBBLES FOR PARENTS is an app that provides families with conversation starters, videos, and activities to explore ocean science together. Developed in collaboration with early childhood and marine biology experts, the app can be used as a second-screen experience while watching the PBS KIDS series SPLASH AND BUBBLES. When synced with a SPLASH AND BUBBLES episode, the app provides information about relevant animals, environments, and science themes. It also offers anytime conversation starters, inspired by the lively and entertaining SPLASH AND BUBBLES characters, to encourage families to explore science learning together. Ocean friends forever!

EXPLORE SCIENCE WITH YOUR CHILD
-Conversation starters for SPLASH AND BUBBLES episodes, aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, inspire families to explore ocean science together
-Ocean Guide provides fun facts and real photos of ocean animals, environments, and science concepts
-Hands-on activities encourage science learning and discovery in the real world

EPISODE SYNCING
-Tap on the Sync button while watching an episode of SPLASH AND BUBBLES to allow the app to listen and identify the SPLASH AND BUBBLES episode you are watching
-Once synced, the app will open the Episode Guide where you can find vocabulary words, video and music clips, characters, and questions to help you talk about science with your child
-New conversation starters will show up when viewing episodes for a second time
