App Description

Guthook's Tour of the PCT provides an overview of the Pacific Crest Trail from the perspective of a 'thru-hiker' -- a hiker who completes the trail in one season.

The demo includes:
--The Pacific Crest Trail mapped from Mexico to Canada
--A sample of 30 points of interest mapped on the trail, including photos and descriptions of each point.

The upgrade includes:
--The Pacific Crest Trail mapped from Mexico to Canada (same as demo)
--An additional 500+ points of interest (views, wildflowers, natural landmarks, town services, resupply locations, etc.) mapped on the trail, including photos and descriptions of each point
--Comprehensive listing of towns and resupply points (with addresses)
--Elevation profile of the Pacific Crest Trail

Please note that this app is not an on-the-trail PCT guide and does not have GPS functionality. If you are looking for a trail guide with GPS functionality and offline topo maps, check out our Guthook's Guide to the PCT series. They use your smartphone's GPS plus off-line topo maps to guide you on the PCT even when you do not have cell phone service.
