App Description

The picturesque village of Dre-fach Felindre in the beautiful Teifi valley was once the centre of a thriving woollen industry, earning it the nickname 'The Huddersfield of Wales'.

During this trail you will immerse yourself in this industry and learn how it differed from its agriculture-dominated hinterland. You will also hear from local people how the village became a strategic but inconspicuous staging post during the Second World War.

Venture through the local countryside and explore the small hamlets that formed part of this island of industry. This app contains both English and Welsh content. Select your language and start exploring.

A beautiful offline map allows you to explore and navigate even if you have little or no mobile reception.

This app makes use of GPS to show you places of interest close to your current location. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
