App Description
This app will guide you around the Reservoir Trails, so you can enjoy the magnificent scenery and wildlife of the South Pennines. As well as providing a safe water supply, the reservoirs and surrounding landscape offer a fantastic place for recreation and wildlife. These reservoirs also have a fascinating history.
Our app comes with offline mapping so you can navigate your way around this breathtaking area even if you have no mobile reception.
We hope that understanding the importance of the reservoirs in our landscape, and bringing their history to life, will enhance your experience when walking these hills.
This app makes use of GPS to show you points of interest close to your current location. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
