Do you want to be the drift king? Top Gear: Drift Legends lets you do just that and we've got some advice to help you slide your way on top of the competition.

The gas helps you steer

Unlike most racing games, using the gas pedal while you drift in Drift Legends actually gives you more maneuverability.

Don't be afraid of flooring it, as doing so could give you just what you need to curl around that hairpin turn.

Counter steer into a turn for best results

A lot of arcade racing games handle most of the drifting physics for you so that cornering feels more like a normal car than it actually is.

Drift Legendsis all about the drift, and presents a more demanding control scheme to make players actively try and swing the rear of their car around a corner.

To help you do this, it's important to try to learn and master steering away from the apex of a turn before bumping your rear out. Doing this can give you a much better angle when drifting and allow for you to more easily perfect your runs in Drift Legends.

Memorize your courses!

It's quite difficult to finish with a good score without knowing what turns are coming up.

Although there's a minimap in the top corner that can give you a sense of the course in the moment, taking the time to truly learn a course by watching flyovers and driving through a few times can really help you develop the perfect lines needed to drift across the finish and earn gold.
