But the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park is about more than natural beauty. It’s about the urban experience: located right in the center of a city of some 150,000 residents, less than 15 miles from Manhattan. It’s about the human spirit, and the many immigrants who came to this country to build a better life for their families. It’s about perseverance, and men and women overcoming incredible odds. It’s about America, and our nation’s rise to become the world’s greatest manufacturing power.
