App Description

Dream Cars: Innovation Design, Visionary Ideas, at the High Museum of Art, features concept cars from the early 1930s to the 21st century that pushed the limits of imagination and foreshadowed the future of design. The exhibition will pair conceptual drawings and scale models with fully realized cars, demonstrating how these experimental designs changed the automobile from an object of function to a symbol of future possibilities.

This Acoustiguide Mobile Application includes an Adult Tour and a Kids Tours. The Adult Tour features interviews with automotive historian Ken Gross, General Motor's VP of Global Design Ed Welburn, futurist designer Syd Mead, and Sarah Schleuning, the exhibition’s curator. Also included are images and video available exclusively on the app. The Kids Tour is a playful exploration of how concept car designers create and innovate, and is meant to inspire the imaginations of the exhibition’s younger visitors.
