The Richmond Olympic Experience (ROX) app delivers a complete audio tour of the ROX exhibition at the Richmond Olympic Oval, including insightful commentary from VANOC CEO John Furlong, Olympic Medalist and local Richmond athlete Darcy Marquardt Hortness, and Paralympic Medalist Trevor Hirschfield. Take a peek inside the Olympic Games, learn the stories behind the artefacts and discover the Journey of Transformation an athlete takes as they strive to achieve their podium dreams.
The ROX is a dynamic visitor experience that celebrates the Olympic Spirit, evokes memories of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, features Richmond's role as an Olympic Venue City and tells the story of sport in Richmond. The Oval's three floors of gallery space offers museum displays, interactive media and hands-on sport simulations. The ROX hopes to inspire you to always pursue your dreams—as an athlete, at work, in your community...in life.
