Games publisher NetEase wants to transport you back to Middle-earth with The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War, the brand new strategy game for fans of Tolkien’s Iconic world. It's been a while since gamers have had a chance to play a proper The Lord of the Rings game, with the last title being Middle-earth: Shadow of War, released way back in 2017 by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. However, whilst Shadow of War was an RPG available across multiple platforms, including console and PC, The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War has been designed from the ground up exclusively for mobile devices, built around strategic play with a unique social interaction aspect in which you work together each season with other players to battle and conquer.

An Epic Story

The story is an original tale from Middle-earth. Set in the same universe as the trilogy, The One Ring, which was thought to be lost, has reemerged, waiting in the bowels of Dol Guldur - the Dark Fortress of Mirkwood. Soon war breaks out over the news of its return, tempting the world of men, Dwarves and Elves alike to seek out its dark properties in an attempt to wield its immense power. As the player you will have to strategize and battle your way through many foes who want to take possession of the One Ring for themselves. You will need intelligent planning; using clever tactics to keep one step ahead of your enemies and those that want to reclaim the One Ring to rule them all!

Officially licensed and based on the trilogy of books by J.R.R. Tolkien - with elements from OSCAR®-winning film adaptations by Peter Jackson - The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is launching soon on September 23rd. Fans can pre-register for the mobile strategy game by NetEase Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and score a portrait of Bilbo Baggins, the Hobbit of the Shire, at launch.

MU Origin 2, Webzen’s hit MMORPG, is rolling out its massive 6.1 update with an Integrated Server Guild Battleground, Deify Shield, Pet Resurrection and Pet Equipment, Elemental Refinement, and more. For starters, the Integrated Server Guild Battleground will provide the most powerful Guilds an avenue to duke it out in a competition to see who will reign supreme.

MU Origin 2’s Deify Shield feature allows players to power up their Divine Shield with gems collected from the Divine Tower, while the Pet Resurrection & Equipment feature lets players equip pets with cool armor and even resurrect them when push comes to shove. Moreover, the Spirit feature provides elemental spirits that will help guide players on their adventures with bonus elemental properties.

Webzen’s hit mobile MMORPG MU Origin 2 is taking things up a notch with its 6.0 update, introducing Kundun Lilith, Elemental Seals, and The Abyss Season 29 among other upgrades.

Running until August 1st, the Abyss Season 29 lets players collect Abyss Coins and Abyss Blood Coins and deck themselves to the nines with Abyss Costumes at the exchange shop.
