The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War, Warner Bros. and NetEase’s upcoming mobile strategy game, is now open for pre-registration

Geo-strategic seasonal wargame The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is now open for pre-registration. The hit franchise comes alive in a whole new way for Tolkien fans, as NetEase Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s mobile strategy title lets players experience Middle-earth from the palm of their hand.

The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War lets players experience complex alliance-building and tile-based systems in a thrilling reignited war to gain control of the One Ring. In this immersive strategy title, you’ll have to fortify settlements, outwit enemies, amass your army, and make difficult decisions with lasting consequences throughout the game. The simulated warfare coupled with masterful storytelling stays true to the gripping narrative of the world of LOTR, with the official license bringing the iconic world to life through authentic settings and characters.

Choose your faction to fight for: Gondor, Rohan, Lothlórien, Erebor, Mordor or Isengard. Command armies and creatures to fight for you. Then, take control of lands and hold your banner up high, whether you’re fighting for good or for evil. The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is now open for pre-registration on the App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, and on Google Play in Europe, the Americas, Oceania, and Southeast Asia. Pre-registrants will receive an in-game gift pack with a portrait of Bilbo Baggins, the Hobbit of the Shire, when the game launches on September 23rd.
