As if the global release of MU Archangel isn’t exciting enough, we’ve got even more reasons to get hyped for Webzen’s mobile spin-off to MU Online. If you just can’t wait to pour out blood, sweat, and tears in strategizing your character’s best build, or figuring out if you want to be a Descendant of Lorencia, a Descendant of Arca, or a Champion of Noria, we’ve got the lowdown on the core gameplay elements of the game to whet your appetite while you’re hanging onto the edge of your seat.

You can join a guild...

Joining a guild isn’t just for the social butterflies - you can score Archangel Equipment through Guild Siege or collect extra EXP and tons of other rewards via the Guild Quiz, Guild Estate, and Guild Training. The Guild Feast, in particular, is a sanctuary for when you need to take a breather every now and then (Who knows? You might even score some free barbecue).

...or go all by your lonesome

You can also enlist the help of your best buds when going solo in dungeons and boss fights through Guild Support. Still, the social aspect of the game might not be everyone’s thing, so if you prefer to take the journey alone, you’re welcome to fight off foes and explore dungeons to your heart’s content with only your weapon of choice and your gaming grit.

Bosses are aplenty

Take your pick from the Solo BOSS, World BOSS, Ancient Battlefield, and Guild BOSS to score rare equipment, valuable jewels, and other high-level crafting materials to buff up your stats even further. You can also either cooperate or compete with players during boss raids, so keep your guard up - you never know if the player next to you is a friend or foe.

Dungeon crawlers, rejoice - there’s no shortage of exploration here

Bosses can scale along with your level and can get progressively more difficult as you get stronger, and rewards from boss fights vary depending on whoever deals the most damage. If you’re not a fan of that kind of cut-throat competition, then exploring dungeons can be just as exhilarating. Go through the Square of Devil, Blood Castle, Bellator, and Land of Demons to grind for EXP and level up to your fullest potential.

There are three classes, and then more

Fight in close quarters with the Dark Knight, snipe from afar with the Elf, or cast your spells on unwitting foes with the Dark Wizard - plus, for the first time ever in the MU franchise, the non-gender-locked Dark Wizard now has both a female and male version. Are you ready to get your game on?

MU Archangel is now open for pre-registration in Southeast Asia, where you can claim exclusive rewards just by signing up. Be sure to follow the official Facebook page to stay updated on the latest developments.
