App Description

CRIPPT stands for The Critical Infrastructure Patrol Prioritization Tool. CRIPPT dispatches a directed patrol in a way that prioritizes the critical infrastructures identified in a maritime facility's security plan. CRIPPT stratified sampling implementation enables it to quantify (read: manage) a patrol's MARSEC compliance while ensuring patrol unpredictability.

Stratified sampling is an idea that was first outlined by Jerzy Neyman in his paper, "On the Two Different Aspects of the Representative Method: The Method of Stratified Sampling and the Method of Purposive Selection," in 1934.
