App Description
GridTask allows users to assign and accept tasks and to collaborate one-to-one or in groups; share images, location, and instant message or instant single-tap teleconference each other.
TASK
Assign a task with a due date and track it to completion. Get notified when a user assigned with a task adds a photo, video, audio file or comment.
MESSAGE
Private 1:1 and group chat with your team. Share images and your location. Create or edit the name of group conversations you start. Notifications will alert you to new messages received. View information on all participants in a group chat even if you're not Gridded. Start an instant teleconference with your chat group with just one tap.
ALERTS
Receive critical alerts instantly from your a coordinator.
Acknowledge received alerts with "Accept" or "Reject" status, or choose "Reply" to alert sender with additional input. Push notifications will let you know when a new alert is received. Read receipts let your coordinator know whether you've seen the alert. A backup email, SMS or text-to-voice, Skype or Slack message will let you know about an alert when you're away from your phone.
LOCATE
Broadcast your location to your coordinator in GridCommand. GridTask will continue transmitting your location at a battery-friendly interval until you tap the button again to turn it off or logout.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
GridTask encrypts your data in transit and keeps it safe.
