Built for public safety professionals and other first-responders, J SIGNAL promotes interoperability between public and private agencies, allowing J SIGNAL users to find each other by location, organization, proximity or specialty; connect and collaborate one-to-one or in groups; and share images, location, and real-time intelligence in an instant messaging conversation or an instant single-tap teleconference.

CLAIM YOUR PROFILE
Enter your agency-issued email address, and we'll match you to your validated by J SIGNAL profile already in the system. Once you've verified your identity, complete your profile in one simple step.

DISCOVER
Find and Grid with your team and specialists or experts in your region or across the country.

CONNECT
Grid with other verified members so you can start messaging and using GridCall - instant teleconference. Invite your entire team to Grid with just one tap. You control with whom you Grid - only your Grids can send you messages.

MESSAGE
Private 1:1 and group chat with your team and other public safety professionals across the US. Share images and your location. Create or edit the name of group conversations you start. Notifications will alert you to new messages received. View information on all participants in a group chat even if you're not connected. Start an instant teleconference with your chat group with just one tap.

ALERTS
Receive critical alerts instantly from your agency coordinator in GridCommand, a web application that increases situational awareness, tracks teams, and advances interoperable communications. Acknowledge received alerts with "Accept" or "Reject" status, or choose "Reply" to alert sender with additional input. Push notifications will let you know when a new alert is received. Read receipts let your coordinator know whether you've seen the alert. A backup email will let you know about an alert when you're away from your phone.

GEO-CAST
Broadcast your location to your coordinator in GridCommand. J SIGNAL will continue transmitting your location at a battery-friendly interval until you tap the button again to turn it off or logout.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
