Ever wanted to be a powerful God controlling everything in the world? Well, Gods of Olympus is as close as you’re going to get to experience that.

You might need some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your Godly powers - and that’s where we come in. Read on!

Use those powers

There’s no point being a God if you don't use your special abilities - so do so every time your power up becomes available.

You start out with Zeus and his Chain Lightning - which is as powerful as it sounds, dishing out hefty damage to buildings and units nearby. Go nuts with it because there’s a short cool down period.

What Gods?

Pick Athena as your second God. She’s the best of the bunch, thanks to a vital ability to soak up damage very easily.

Her second ability is Aegis, allowing her to reduce incoming damage by 70% which makes a massive difference in battle. Send her out first before Zeus wanders in.

Work towards those achievements

Each time you complete an achievement, you gain gems. Work towards those achievements. Even better, it gives you an extra focus in the game which is always welcome, right?

More gems!

Talking of gems, did you know you can build a fountain that produces one gem every ten hours? It’s slow going, but those gems soon add up fast.

Eventually, you’ll unlock more buildings that produce gems too.

Upgrading

Don’t forget to upgrade your defensive towers. These offer immediate benefits like boosting your attack power or allowing you to produce more troops.

Check into the Pantheon often so you can spend gold on upgrading your Gods. You can boost their health, strength, and abilities this way, but it tends to get quite expensive after a while.

Winning at the defensive phase

The defensive phases of Gods of Olympus aren’t as fun as dishing out Gods against enemies, but you still need to do a good job with them.

Make sure you remember to deploy defensive troops at every opportunity. The cool down is brief and you want to swarm the invading hordes with as many of your own troops as possible.
