The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is now featured on the App Store and Galaxy Store

NetEase’s latest release, The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War has already gathered an impressive amount of players in just little over a week. The game has amassed over a million downloads, and as a result is now featured on the App Store and on the Samsung Galaxy Store.

The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is a strategy set in the Middle-earth world fans know and love from the books and movies. Each player can choose one of the famous Factions and start building their legacy. After creating their own ring, players will try to expand their territory and win over the other players in their quest to acquire the One Ring to rule them all.

In order to expand the base and grow their empire, each player has to decide which tiles they want to conquer. There's more than first meets the eye though, because depending on the tile, a player can try to come up with a unique approach for each situation. Since the game is so heavily reliant on tactics, the possibilities are virtually endless.

From famous characters such as Gandalf the Grey and Legolas to accurate locations depicted in the books and movies, players can join their desired side (be it Rohan, Isengard, Mordor, Erebor, Lothlorien or Gondor) and make decisions that will shape the direction in which their story will go.
