LifeAfter’s Resident Evil crossover has returned with new skins, levels, and more

LifeAfter’s Resident Evil crossover event is back for phase two after it successfully held an earlier collaboration earlier this year in August.

NetEase Games has kicked off phase two of the LifeAfter x Resident Evil event, which saw characters from the popular Capcom series appear within the framework of the familiar LifeAfter post-apocalypse survival gameplay. The event will last from this Thursday, 3rd December, and run until 17th December.

The event, titled “The Final Battle”, involves players uniting to team up and deal the final blow to the Umbrella Corporation, which has brought back familiar Resident Evil villains such as Mr. X and Albert Wesker. Fan favourites such as Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong and Jill Valentine also make appearances, with you being able to customise their weapons and appearance with new exclusive skins.

Every item from the first event earlier this year returns in the new one, such as Leon and Ada’s classic outfits, the motorcycle and the limited Resident Evil-themed decorations and pendants. New outfits for Jill and Wesker are also introduced in the new event, with items such as a backpack and a picture frame also being up for grabs.

Check the trailer above to see more of the LifeAfter x Resident Evil crossover event. As you can see, we return to the familiar R.P.D. setting that featured heavily in Resident Evil 2.

NetEase has also tweaked the gameplay to feature a more Resi-like familiarity. You have to fight famous bosses from the series such as Tyrant and Nemesis, but you also need to unlock chests and collect three gold medallions to unlock a secret tunnel all while being chased by enemies.
