HoYoverses announces inaugral art exhibition for smash hit Genshin Impact
If you are lucky enough to be in the Paris area in early January, then you should pop to the Galerie Joseph and enjoy a look at the world of HoYoverses’ global smash hit, Genshin Impact. There will be unreleased concept art and a deep dive into the game's beautiful world and unique characters.
For those of you who may have been on a deserted island for the past two years and not heard of it, Genshin Impact is an action RPG with gacha tendencies set in the fantasy world of Teyvat. It was released in September 2020, and immediately took the world by storm and went on to amass a crate of award wins and nominations.
Starting January 3rd and lasting until the 10th, fans of the game will be able to visit the Endless Adventure in Teyvat exhibition in the Galerie Joseph in Paris, which will be free for all visitors. The multimedia exhibition will be HoYoverses inaugural Genshin Impact exhibition and will showcase never before seen concept art and developer sketches. There will even be concert videos performed by renowned musicians and orchestra, for audio as well as a visual feast.
The exhibition will showcase the making of the game, complete with behind-the-scenes stories and even life-size recreations of the game's most iconic scenes, which sounds pretty cool. There will also be a full 14m2 model of Teyvat including all four unveiled nations. Xiao and Yun Jin, two of the more popular characters, will be featured heavily, with the developers providing original sketches and stories from their creations.
It isn't just the official material being showcased, as HoYoverse also wants to honour the community. As such, there will be a collection of fan art and player stories included in the show, as well as a variety of handicrafts and fan creations. The French artist duo ZIM&ZOU have also provided some new works for fans to admire.
The exhibition will be open from 9 am until 8 pm and welcomes all visitors, however, a pre-registration period will kick off on December 22nd offering a limited number of commemorative laser-printed tickets. If you are looking to refresh your memory before you attend, Genshin Impact can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
