"Jabberwocky" is a nonsense poem written by Lewis Carroll in his 1871 novel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, a sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. "Jabberwocky" is considered one of the greatest nonsense poems written in English.
While many of the words are made up, it has a great rhythm when read aloud and still brings to mind an impression of what it all means. Our feeling was of a scary and majestic dragon flying through a swampy scene. We created this as a nice background and add a fun word search like game where you must find 4 words from each phrase of the poem on a rotating letter cube. Solving the puzzles unlocks the next part of the poem.
Play alone or enjoy with family. The idea is you can play through the entire poem in one setting of about 15-20 minutes. Each time you play through it may select different words from the phrase and arrange them in different ways. Relaxing music with nighttime sounds along with puzzle variety allows you to enjoy again and again and is a great way to finish the day.
