Ever since its opening in June 2006, the musée du quai Branly has been disseminating knowledge on the arts and civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and America. Its collections originating from the musée des Arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie and the musée de l'Homme have been enhanced by the building designed by Jean Nouvel.
A veritable cultural city, and located right next to the Eiffel Tower, the museum schedules exhibitions, guided visits, workshops, meetings, conferences, shows, projections, etc. all through the year…
The official iPhone application of the musée du quai Branly gives you the complete time-table of the events to be held in the museum, a video presentation of the museum, discovery tours of the collections as can be undertaken in the museum as well as practical information, including an interactive access map.
Last but not least, send a postcard of the museum and share your impressions thanks to a selection of visuals!
