App Description
In linear algebra, a tridiagonal matrix is a matrix that has nonzero elements only on the main diagonal, the first diagonal below and the first diagonal above the main diagonal - the sub-diagonals. Tridiagonal Matrices are utilized in the tudy of numerical differential equations.
The Matrix Tridiagonal iPad app enables the entry of 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 matrices, checks for matrix entry validity and calculates and displays the resulting Orthogonal Matrix, the Orthogonal Transpose Matrix and the Tridiagonal Matrix.
The Matrix Tridiagonal iPhone app enables the entry of 2x2 and 3x3 matrices, checks for matrix entry validity and calculates and displays the resulting Orthogonal Matrix, the Orthogonal Transpose Matrix and the Tridiagonal Matrix.
