Are you ready for your expedition to the Arctic? Have you got all the supplies you need? A successful explorer needs to plan carefully. Test your skills by loading your sledges with everything you and your team need to survive for weeks on the sea ice, but don’t pack too much! Your dogs won’ be able to pull the sledges if they are too heavy.
• Choose an expedition, rated from easy to difficult
• Read about your journey – how far do you need to go? How many people will be with you, and how many dogs?
• Decide on how much food and equipment you need
• Keep an eye on the weight of your loaded sledge – don’t make it too heavy for the dogs!
• Keep trying to raise your score.
Suitable for ages 10 and up.
