+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad
By Campbell Bird on December 21st, 2022
Our rating: starstarstarstarblankstar :: WEIRD AND WONDERFUL
Afterplace isn’t the easiest game to make your way through, but a lot of its friction and weirdness is also what makes it a special experience.

Cyan announces iOS port for Myst to celebrate 30 years of the puzzle masterpiece

Posted by Shaun Walton on February 3rd, 2023

One of the best things about old games being remastered and ported is it gives people the chance to try those old games that were slightly too difficult when they were younger, and thanks to indie studio Cyan, mobile users can now experience the best-selling PC game of the 20th century, Myst.

The port announcement comes during the year of Myst’s 30th anniversary and is definitely a game that earned all its fame and glory back when it was released. Set on the eponymous Myst Island, you are dumped straight into the thick of it with almost zero story and not much guidance. All you can do is explore. Myst featured no real enemies and no death, leaving you with just an island to conquer and puzzles to solve.

Posted by Shaun Walton on January 22nd, 2023

If you’ve been feeling like you have mastered New State Mobile and win every game you enter without trying, then prepare yourselves because the times are changing in a big way. Krafton has announced a raft of changes in its January Update that will overhaul the meta and make New State a little more competitive, at least until a new meta is inevitably established.

To start with, Krafton has made a host of balancing changes to weapons based on player feedback. The long-range damage of the SMGs, ARs and LMGs has been decreased in a bid to encourage the use of guns that have proven unpopular in the past, It is a change that makes sense, given how SMGs in particular are more mid to close-range.

The Clan of the Squirrel is led by their warchef Andhrimnir, and that is not a typo. Andhrimnir is known for his fearless and authoritative demeanour, both on the battlefield and in the kitchen, making him the dreaded Warchef, which seems fairly fitting for a clan named after the fluffy, innocent Squirrel.
