Genshin Impact's Luna VII (version 6.6) livestream teased the content for the next update. First and foremost, we will return to Sumeru for Acts IX and X of the Archon Quest, which means we're continuing the story that was left off in Luna IV.

If you thought Luna IV was the end of Dottore, you're dead wrong. Luna VII Archon Quest will actually revolve around Dottore, and although we've faced him in a boss fight and even have him as a weekly boss, you'll face him once more in the upcoming mission. Hopefully, this would be the end of his evil arc.

Once you're done with all the thrill and excitement of Sumeru's main quest, take a step back to your first home, Mondstadt.

After learning more about Lohen in his Story Quest, you may get the chance to meet the Little Hexenzirkel, a new witch society formed by none other than Klee. Of course, staying true to its name, the group members consist of kids like Yaoyao, Qiqi, Sayu, and the new character for 6.6, Prune.

Yes, Prune is a Witch Hunter and is a part of the little witch society. Confusing? Not really, I mean, we're talking about kids here!

If that's not exciting enough, you can soon visit Nicole's Witch Lodge. Step into the seemingly normal house to enter a treasure hunt. You're even promised a hidden surprise after completing all the challenges.

Let's talk about Genshin Impact Luna VII banners

The first banner in Genshin Impact 6.6 is Nicole and Durin. Prune will also get a rate-up as a 4-star character. Afterwards, Lohen and Mavuika will be the stars of phase 2.

Nicole is a shielder who can give a party-wide ATK buff, which makes her "the better Bennett." Yes, we're finally getting a Bennett power creep.

Her Elemental Burst summons Arcane Projection, which will attack enemies along with the active character. It scales with the active character's ATK and follows their element. Of course, as a witch, she has her own Witch's Homework too.

I was so excited to see that Nicole can summon Seelies, which will guide you to nearby treasures. However, my excitement was shattered when I realised you still need to own the corresponding region's treasure compass to use this feature. At least it's still cute, I guess.

Meanwhile, Lohen is a Polearm-Cryo DPS. His competitive trait seeps through even on his kit. When a team member deals high DMG, he will boost his own Skill and Burst damage to dominate. So he needs a notable damage dealer or sub-DPS as his teammate.

He gets a temporary +1 level on his Elemental Skill when he uses his Skill. The duration of this buff becomes longer when any of his teammates' Elemental Skill levels is not lower than his.

Genshin Impact Luna VII will launch on May 20, 2026.
