Warframe launches Iceblade of Narin complete with a frosty new character

There's a chill in the air, and it is not because the heat has mercifully started to get lost. Warframe has launched its Iceblade of Narin expansion, including the all-new eponymous frosty Warframe. Although if you prefer sparkles to shivers, you are also in luck.

The 66th Warframe, Narin, is the second ice-based character after Frost, and she blows him away. She can restore her shields by siphoning frost from foes, freeze everyone with just about any skill, and she brings two signature weapons: the Nunchasa bow and Aksondol dual ice pistols. I require both of these weapons immediately. Or all three, I guess, if two guns. The point is, gimme.

For those magpies amongst us, Citrine Prime has been released in all her glistening glory. As well as the standard extra armour and Naramon Dash polarity slot, you can also pick up the Teflos Prime shotgun and the Corufell Prime scythe. Or, try out the newly reworked Banshee, who is free for anyone logging in before October 7th.

After you pick your new hero, it is time to strike out to locations both new and old. Scaling back up to Yuvan Peak, you will find a new social zone. Or head back to Cephalon Melica to barter for new wares. If you are seeking combat, redock where it all started with the Zariman, which is sporting new Entropic Eximus foes. You may even stumble upon a new room, Melica’s Labroom, that might just hide a bit of intriguing lore about the eponymous character.

If you are a die-hard Samsung fan who has venomously refused the call of Google Play, you are in luck. Warframe is now available on the Samsung Galaxy Store, and anyone who plays through that storefront before October 21st will get some free cosmetic goodies. So grab your Samsung device or knick a friend's. Warframe is worth it, as is fashion.
