Running a country isn't easy - especially when you're a dictator who wants to take over the world and crush everyone in your path while you do it.

That's exactly what you'll be doing in Dictator 2, except you're running multiple countries, and for some reason you've decided to avoid seeking counsel on every matter.

Well, while we can't make every decision in life for you, we can offer some guidance in the form of tips to help you go from El Gato to El Presidente.

Keep your friends close

To get access to the more powerful cards in a faction's deck, you need to build up a good relationship with them by making decisions that will make them happy.

So if there's a card you really want, forget trying to appease any of the other factions and just focus on the one you want to buddy up with.

You might have to annoy another faction to do so, but you can spend some time doing damage control after you've got what you want.

Say the right thing

One thing that seems to be pretty consistent in Dictator 2 is that the factions like straightforward responses, and aren't particularly interested in outlandish behaviour.

Do the police force really want a parade in their honour with golden violins? No, probably not. Think logically, be direct, and you'll find yourself scoring points with the right people more often than not.

Brute force it

You can only hold a limited number of cards in your deck, and there's very little strategy involved in battles.

So kit yourself out with the cards that have the highest attack power, and that can attack twice in a turn, and go for the enemy dictator. Nine times out of ten you'll win without even engaging another card.
