How to get a better shark in Hungry Shark World

There’s no shortage of things to do in Hungry Shark World, but one of the most important is levelling up your shark and unlocking new breeds.

Building up a fleet of ultra-powerful aquatic predators brings big rewards, so follow these tips to make sure your shark is in tip-top shape.

Get that money

Your essential goal is to gobble down as much food as possible. Not only does this give you much needed energy, it can also reward you with coins.

Eating large schools of fish in one go will net you coin multipliers, and certain fish even have a certain gold-sheen to them. This means you’ll earn even more by eating them.

You’ll also want to complete your daily missions for an extra coin boost (these can be found in the pause menu if you're unsure of what to do!)

Upgrade your shark

Now that you have a nice stockpile of gold, you should spend it on upgrades. Levelling up your shark will significantly improve your survivability, and give you bumps in speed, strength, and health.

You can also purchase useful items like baby sharks, which will help you in your relentless feasting.

In turn, all of these upgrades will help you earn more coins at a greater rate while also levelling up your shark faster.

Unlock new breeds

While your starter shark will set you off down the right path, you’ll certainly want to unlock the bigger and badder sharks available in the game.

Not only does each shark have its own stats and specialties, but each one unlocked will let you explore additional parts of the world. This, in turn, unlocks new missions and new opportunities to gather even more coins.
