Collectible card juggernaut Clash Royale received an update today, shifting some of the cards in the pecking order. Most notably, Elite Barbarians' health and damage have been nerfed by 4%, while their DPS has gotten a whopping 10.5% decrease. Zap, too, is getting a damage reduction. It was once able to OHKO goblins, but this latest patch should make other spells and ranged moves viable options once more. Meanwhile, the Electro Wizard got a 9% HP increase to prevent Fireball from taking the unit out in one fell swoop. Supercell has a full list of changes over on their site if you fancy a peek.

Fans in the game's forums find the changes quite welcome, as Elite Barbarians and Zap had become quite overused until now. The team noted that these fixes are crafted through "s a combination of playtesting and looking at the stats - in particular, card use rates and win rates." Some are speculating that these changes could be in preparation for the next big Clash Royale update, which introduces Executioner, Dart Goblin, Goblin Gang, and Battle Ram cards. That update is expected some time this month.
