ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS ART & FILM FESTIVAL:

The Human Rights Arts & Film Festival aims to shed light on the human condition through the directorial lens of award-winning filmmakers, the creative minds of emerging artists, and conversations with human rights and screen experts. With high profile documentaries (Chasing Asylum, They Will Have To Kill Us First and Maya Angelou and Still I Rise), and new artistic collaborations (including artist Alex Seton and our first venture to Footscray Community Arts Centre) featured in the slate, this year’s festival will challenge contemporary views on human rights in unexpected ways.
