App Description
The application aims to support a study to identify options for Dubuque commuters to save money, conserve resources, and improve the environment through better travel choices. One way we will do that is to collect data through smartphone technology on how, when and where volunteer participants travel within the community. The volunteers will be recruited by the East Central Intergovernmental Association (ECIA) and the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (DMATS). The aggregate data collected will be analyzed and the findings will be used by the City of Dubuque, ECIA, DMATS and its transit partners to investigate practices and policies that incorporate lower-cost and lower-impact travel options within Dubuque. No individually identifiable will be released to third parties or used outside this study.
Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
