From master photographer Joel Kubicki Jr.: Viewscapes Magazine is dedicated to the natural aspects of my photography portfolio. I have a love for nature, like many other nature enthusiasts. Being there with a camera and having the means to bring back a part of the experiences I have makes it all the more interesting. The plants and natural formations of the land require me to dig a bit deeper into what I have captured or found. With a camera, I have a need to research most of the areas I shoot prior to arriving. The main locations are planned, but what I see and experience is not. I have traveled to several states around the country solely to photograph some of our Country’s greatest resources and park. Besides the poison ivy infections, bug bites, and the sweat that comes along with outdoor excursions, I have seen some amazing locations in the last decade. The images within this magazine capture a small slice from the best of my nature work. I am available for specially commissioned series and am always open to fans and nature lovers that have other information to share about locations that I have explored or are on “the list.” In this magazine, I am privileged to share with you the beauty that I have seen in the places I have traveled. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have in shooting it.
