For those of you unfamiliar with the game - you begin with a word of up to three letters - ie. 'car'.
The next player must then make a new word by vertically shifting just one letter in the existing word. You can also add a letter to the beginning or end of the existing word, or remove letters within it to form the next word in the sequence.
So 'car' could become any of the following:
Care
Cars
Carp
Cart
Scar
...Amongst others!
Just have a try and you'll pick it up in no time!
