App Description
Search for fossils in this 3d adventure game based on actual road cuts through the Appalachian Mountains in Southwest Virginia. Many of the fossils you will find are also present in many other parts of the world. Onscreen guides will help you determine if what you found is an actual fossil or something that just looks like a fossil. These guides will also help you identify the major group of invertebrates to which the fossil belongs. Because of the graphics, this app runs on the iPod 5, iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, the iPad 2, and later iPad models on iOS 7,8, and 9. Do not try to run this app on iPod 4, iPhone 4, or earlier models. There are no in-app purchases in this app or ads. You get the entire app for one low cost. In addition, when you finish finding all the fossils in this app and identifying them, you will be given a link to a FREE BONUS APP called the Fossil Analyzer which allows you to identify fossils down to the species level and determine it's geologic age on an iPad!
