App Description

Walking alone can be dangerous. ELERTS EscortMe app provides virtual Security Escorts to an organization's people, as they walk to or from work or school. Organizations monitor their people's progress as they walk, by using ELERTS EPICenter management console.

Using EscortMe is as simple as holding down a button while you walk. If you feel endangered, release the button and a distress report is initiated once the brief timeout expires. You may also speed up the distress report by clicking "I Need Help".

EscortMe Ripcord
Alternatively, walkers may use a hands-free mode of EscortMe, while they walk. ELERTS Ripcord is an innovative, patent-pending method of indicating when you need help by simply pulling the plug out from your phone's headphone jack.

Skywriter
Users may share their location on a map and send an “I am OK” or “I Need Help” message to friends and family by Email, SMS, Facebook or Twitter. This is a handy way to let others know where you are and your status.

For quickly contacting police, there is a Call Police button on the main screen.

EscortMe integrates with popular alarm monitoring central stations.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
