All children are natural scientists when given the opportunity to explore. Expand your child's experience with some early years science topics. This app provides a great learning experience for little minds to investigate core science concepts aimed at young children of 3-5 years. A fun interactive game that covers senses, earth & space, plants & animals, weather and colours.

Topics and content have been validated with teachers and early childhood development experts **Full professionally recorded audio to support the learning experience.**

The game runs on a continuous play mode for ease of navigation, as your child progresses they will earn science stars and hit the bonus wheel spin round to win extra stars.

Includes helpful ‘parents reference material’ section which provides context and tips for helping your child consider early years science in their own environment and at home.

Topics and learning objectives are;
Senses
1) awareness of our five senses (touch, taste, smell, sight, hearing)
2) ability to identify each sense (we see with our eyes etc)
3) ability to identify objects with each senses (smelly things, hot things etc.)

Weather
1) ability to identify differences in weather (find the sunny day)
2) ability to consider cause and effect (puddles need rain, kites need wind etc)
3) ability to spell out some weather terms (with hint option for young children!)

Earth & Space
1) awareness of sun, moon and planets
2) ability to match planets with their names (colour coded to provide hints!)
3) ability to consider objects from space and space travel

Colours
1) ability to identify key colours
2) awareness that mixing colours results in a new colour (red + yellow = orange)
3) ability to name the colour for various items (the sun is yellow etc)

Plants and animals
1) consider cause and effect (plants need rain and sun to grow)
2) identify correct environment for various animals (what lives on the farm etc)
3) identify different types of insects
