App Description
Great learning app which teaches children all about types of clocks, the concepts of time and how to tell the time. The game uses fully interactive clock faces and animated sequences with audio to teach the concepts of time.
The game is designed for 5-8 year olds and is balanced between between the following learning methods;
- tutorial and teach
- play and interact
- test your knowledge
Full UK english audio, NO in app purchases or adverts.
Designed and validated with teachers and early childhood development experts.
In addition there is a parents reference material section which provides some background information regarding the process of, and tips for, teaching children to tell the time.
The game covers the following topics:
- Types of clocks
- Clock face and hands
- Time concepts of am and pm
- Basic time (o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to)
- Advanced time (5/10/20/25 minutes past and to)
The learning experience is kept entertaining through a variety of different screen types:
- Watch and listen to tutorial sections
- Play screens to build pictures and clock faces
- Answer by selecting multiple choice answers
- Answer by setting the time on the interactive clock
- Answer by selecting the clock with the correct time
