* Resistance goals are typically increased between 5% and 10% in bodybuilding. However, available equipment usually limits the minimum increase to 5 lbs. A 5 pound increase to a 20 pound dumbbell is 25% - way too much. When the resistance is less than 50 pounds this app increases the reps goal until the 1RM is about equivalent to that of a 5 pound goal increase before the weight goal is increased 5 pounds.
