Here, at, Charlie & EDisON, We strive to find PAW-SOME products from BARK-TASTIC Brands for you and your Fur baby. As a Dog Mom herself, Our founder Sara can understands some the demands of being a Dog Mom. Spending the last year caring for a rescue along side raising a young fur baby, while running a household and managing through the new reality of world during COVID 19. She was inspired to spend time getting back to being a artist & creator, and a new dog mom she didn't want to return to Corporate world she left so long ago to Travel, or Bartending or managing some else's business in New Orleans which she had been doing for the last 5 years. She wanted to create something fun and meaningful of her own. Using her background in Business Finance, Business Management and Hospitality, Inspired by Charlie and Edison unique personalities who shared their Dog mom 's keen fashion sense with a style of their own, Sara decided to start a business.
With her professional back ground, years of traveling and her experience living in the Big Easy, She wanted to create something not just for the dogs but focus on the that beautiful bond and relationship between dog mom and fur baby. She also didn't want just a store full of nice things, she wanted to be able to have collection of goods in which would inspire, compliment, support or improve her customers lifestyle. She decided she wanted Brands that eluded to that. She wanted beautifully crafted products that told a story, High quality Retail products that could help create a aesthetic look that defines the essence of their creators. And with that a lot of brands and products in which we carry and promote, have a connection or element to that. She also saw all this creative talent emerging from the 2020 because of so many including herself having to find a way to survive with out a job as so many industries were force to close. She wanted her store support that innovative and creative spirit.
With her eye for beauty, and sense of fashion and design, Sara decided she would try to source out Brands and vendors who work with lines that are either small business, social good, women owed, USA made, Canadian made, Fair Trade, Ethically Manufactured, globally conscious, handmade or artisan products. She was amazed to find so Brands and Vendors all over the globe.
