Family Tree Builder 3 is a family tree management and creation application. You can add photos and read reports. Create and edit charts.
Family Tree Builder 3 has been upgraded from software version 2. You can add up to 30 people without upgrading. If there are already more than 30 people, you must make a paid upgrade by pressing the “Upgrade” button. The software stores information on your hard disk. But this information can be read online, on the web page, when you upload the person’s information to the server. Disclosing people is not automatic, only when you press the “Disclose” button on the toolbar. The program is simple and user-friendly. Restrictions are only about the number of people if not upgraded, there are no other restrictions. If you have an older family tree file, which is of the GEDCOM type, “with .ged” extension, you can then open this file in this application by clicking “Import GEDCOM” on the menu. You can also save the file as a GEDCOM file format by pressing the “Export GEDCOM” menu option in the “File” menu. Recording is done automatically. You can choose from 6 report forms. You can change report settings. For example, whether the ID number of the person is displayed or not.
