Akamai MFA is a new secure multi-factor authenticator that significantly improves your organization’s security and account logins.
Akamai MFA uses the recently acquired Krypton technology to take phone-based multi-factor authentication to the next level by turning your phone into a security key. This app leverages the FIDO2/WebAuthn strong authentication standards to deliver a “phish-proof” push with a delightful and simple user experience. Akamai MFA’s FIDO2 solution works with our enterprise offering.
Additionally, Akamai MFA can generate one-time passcodes for offline access login and can receive regular push notifications for traditional tap-to-approve requests on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. Passcodes are supported by many consumer websites such as facebook.com, twitter.com, google.com, and github.com.
Note: Akamai MFA enterprise offering requires an enrollment code from your organization.
