App Description

The Calendar will follow sessions in real time and indicate which are about to begin. You will be able to access all speaker profiles and the sessions that each speaker will be involved in.

In the Map section you can discover where you are in order to choose which session is most interesting and easy to reach depending on your position. Help will also be available with the Navigate To feature, which you can activate by selecting the session venue.

A Personal Area will allow you to create your Wish List and be notified before the session you have selected begins. Decide in advance comfortably from home what you want to see and then enjoy your favourite sessions live.

Topics to be covered in the 2019 programme include sexual harassment, disinformation, climate change, cyber-war and propaganda, artificial intelligence, the alt-right and populism, humanitarian crises, investigative journalism, basic income, trust in the media, migration, fact-checking and debunking, confronting trauma, data journalism, engagement, news start-ups, news literacy, local journalism, diversity and inclusion, public service media, business models, freedom of expression, philanthropy in the media, and many more.
