App Description

Use this app to support teaching children the basics in numeracy. Use traditional teaching methods usually supported by cards and paper resources with an interactive iPad app.

Teachers and parents can use the various sections to help children to learn how to do adding, subtracting, division and multiplication as well as telling the time.

The sections include:
An interactive clock. Move the hands, toggle various helper features and a digital clock.

A 100 square. Highlight the squares to work through the process of adding and subtracting numbers. Go beyond 100 or below 0 by moving the slider to carry consider larger or negative numbers.

Magnet Numbers for laying out number questions and working towards solutions. Some handy templates can generate new ones.

A multiplication square. Highlight and mark numbers to assist children in learning how to multiply and divide.

Isometric Drawing. Show how to use isometric dotted paper to create representations of cube-based shapes.

A Geoboard. Create and examine shapes and their properties. Also useful for coordinates and symmetry.

Number Hider. Use to help with inverse operations by hiding numbers or signs.

Times tables. Initially hidden, reveal times table answers.

Please note this resource is to support adults helping children to complete maths questions provided by teachers or books. It is not for children to go away and learn on their own.
